Since Springhill Sod Farm’s inception in 1974, our roots go deep in southwest Montana and the Gallatin Valley.

During the last 35 years we have been involved in various research projects involving everyone from independent scientists and privatly-operated research facilities to the labs at Montana State University.

We have provided sod for numerous charitable organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, American Legion Baseball and 4H Clubs. There are High School football and athletic fields with our sod and yes— golf courses, too.
